The United Veterans Beacon House is seeking a House Manager for their new Transitional Home for Native American Homeless Veterans located in Promise, South Dakota.

You do not need to be a Native American to apply for this position. You will need to have empathy and respect for their culture and service. Veterans will always obtain preference. Native American Veterans will not be the only Veterans housed.

Come and do something positive for Veterans

Participate as a Working Bee at Promise and Parade, South Dakota.

Working Bee - IconWe need electricians, plumbers, carpenters, framers, cooks, sheetrock installers and finishers, cement layers and finishers, painters and those who are willing to do cleanup. You do not need any special skills - your willingness to take on a task and learn something is always a positive experience. If you want to learn a skill we will teach you!

Working Bee - IconWe cover all of the costs associated with making the trip to and from South Dakota - hotel accommodations, food and every day needs are all taken care of with great care. It takes 2 1/2 days to drive from Pittston, PA to SD and 2 1/2 days to return - two weeks there for a total of approximately 3 weeks. It will be a positive experience.--[More Info & Scheduled Trips]--
